Recently there is a new group of students on the Takamatsu University campus.
We are part of the Boy Scouts. We are called “Rover Scouts.”
We are the newest group of the Kagawa Council Boy Scouts, and part of the Japan Scout Association.
We are officially “Takamatsu 15th Group Rover Crew.”
We made our first appearance on the college campus during the University Festival last week.
The motto of the Boy Scouts is “Be Prepared.”
In Japanese, it’s そなえよつねに. However, the Rovers Motto is “Service.”
We will be involved with many volunteer activities.
We will help the Red Cross soon.
We have also been involved with UNESCO, UNICEF, and even Takamatsu City Hall.
We hope to get many new members. And, we hope to have fun while doing service to our local community.(Williams, R. T.)
